It is just the internet... Who cares if I take over some board where admins don't visit anymore?
What's up?
(I'm kidding. My real life is way more inportant than my online life)

Eh. Feel free to have it.
It was ruined for the people who made it a nice calm place.
And, don't forget, it may be more important, but don't dismiss online interactions just for that.

I just don't see it like that I enjoy actual interaction. Online is just text that doesn't translate the way intended It can often be mistaken for arrogance, jokes will be mistaken for literal, and much more when in reality the text was simply translated wrongly. Facial expressions and tone of voice make a huge difference

Yet you forget, long distance relationships were a thing even before the internet. It being online does not make it false.
It is somewhat different, but not fake.
TBH, there are indeed people I know online who I think it'd be nice to meet in person.

And you forget that long distance relationships were usually had by people who had met in real life, so they already knew how to interpret each other's letters because they knew each other. On the net, it's strangers who are usually trying to interpret what you're saying That argument doesn't hold up
I beg to differ.
You're talking about people you've never actually met... You don't actually know anything about them. Just because you feel you know them doesn't mean you actually know them
They may not be what they seem or who they say they are. Are you really sure?

Heh. To be so pure.. You've simply yet to be utterly betrayed by someone close to you, who you believed most of your life you could trust. Lucky. So, enjoy that perspective while you can.
As for me, barring outright criminals, I already know who to watch out for. No random person online could ever truly do more to me than THAT person.
I only know people for as much as I see of them. This applies to both online AND offline.
And pardon me for taking offense at you called online FAKE. Bah humbug.
And, before you go talking about God, do kindly remember, there are people who would do terrible things, and be excused by his name. Do be careful not to be one of them.

The only ones who betrayed me were "online friends". My real life friends were my true friends. They stuck by me even after I hadn't payed attention to them in a while. People who seemed to be "online friends" kept me from seeing who my actual true friends were. I'm not making the mistake of online friendship again. You can't beat RL friends who are always there
Online friendship isn't real.
As for people doing terrible things in God's name, that's not Christ-like. Before you bring up the Christian crusades, I think in a way the Christian crusades were justified They were a means of self defense after over four centuries of Muslim aggression. The Muslims were saying "join us, or die" and threatened innocents.. "Religion of peace" indeed...
In that situation, can you blame Christians for fighting back?

Seriously?! .... You're impossible.
Just wait until my curse hits you.
Have fun. Bye.

So Michael, people are not allowed to ban you, but you are allowed to curse others? Cursing people who disagree with you is not very mature How 'tolerant'...

Oh.. Beg pardon. It was just the only way I could think of to get you to actually take me seriously. You responded to the concept of witchcraft, so a curse might actually spark a fair conversation.
And, since when have I said I'm not allowed to be banned? TMC technically wasn't a ban, and any other instance, I accepted it.

What do you mean by "take you seriously?" Do you mean you think that I ought to accept your notion mindlessly?
I told you why I don't believe in online friends. I gave you a good explanation I also told you why the Christian crusades weren't as bad on the part of Christians as often thought They were provoked by Muslims.
How is that "impossible"?

Death is death. Murder is murder. Maybe they had their reasons to justify, but, if I recall history lessons correctly, they wanted, they attacked, they killed.
I mean take me seriously, as in, don't simply wave away what I have to say. Pretty much any conversation with you and Kat is only ever one-sided. I listen to you, maybe agree on some things, and you just deny what I have to say.
Maybe you don't believe in them... But calling them fake, to make them out to be nothing is crossing a line.

So we've just learned from you is that we shouldn't defend ourselves from Muslims who are actively murdering people.
Muslims killed Christians and provoked the crusades, but never mind all that. Self defense is wrong
Stop drinking Kool Aid. If murder is murder, then the Muslims are as much to blame as the Christians because they started it Christians merely fought back
I'm aware what I'm saying is political incorrectness, but facts are facts regardless of liberals re-writing history books to appease muslims

If that were their reason....
Y'know what? Enough. I have other people to be around. People who don't cling so selfishly to what they want to be true, no matter the expense to others.
Please ban me so that I can't come back here.

Please ban me so that I can't come back here. I can't ban you? I'm stating facts. That was legitimately the reason.. It was over four centuries before the Christians decided enough was enough If anything, you're refusing to accept facts as facts because you dislike them. I'm not clinging to what I hope is true I'm telling you what is indeed true regardless of how I actually feel about it I don't like that the crusades happened, but I understand why it happened which is what you fail to grasp
